I just finished this collage yesterday. I wanted to show Captain Wentworth in suspense as he waits for Anne to read his letter, if you look close you can see she is holding it in her hand. Working on the different layers of this project was really fun, I started with antique gold layer, then a layer of turquoise, crackle medium and white paint. The letter itself is done in black ink and swirls of gold ink added a pretty finishing touch. Captain Wentworth and Anne were painted on watercolor paper and then cut out and pasted on.
Also, these personalized and hand painted cards are now available just in time for Valentine's Day.
