Pink Poppies, Georgiana and Elizabeth.

This is not a bookish watercolor, but I thought I would try something different this time.

Georigiana and Elizabeth was a custom piece and it turned out so well I thought I would put it out as a print as well.

Emma in the garden

Here is the part of the novel that made me think of this scene, the part right before Mr. Knightley declares himself:
"The weather continued much the same all the following morning; and the same loneliness, and the same melancholy, seemed to reign at Hartfield--but in the afternoon it cleared; the wind changed into a softer quarter; the clouds were carried off; the sun appeared; it was summer again. With all the eagerness which such a transition gives, Emma resolved to be out of doors as soon as possible. "

Pemberly Gardens

I wanted do a painting with a Pemberley that looked a bit different, more formal and with 1800's muted colors you see in watercolor prints of the time.  It's a 4x4 painting, framed in a pretty carved frame.

Northanger Abbey Collage

After a long, long absence during which we had some family travel, some illness and some difficulties with children's school and some spring cleaning, I am back with some new and some reworked  pieces.
Here is a new version of Northanger Abbey collage.  My helper the drawing dummy is helping me demonstrate it :)
And a new version of Jane Eyre print, with some lovely text in the background.
