Antique Fashionista

I have been working on a custom order this week.  Both are remakes of older work, and they were really fun to paint again.  Both might be available as a print and a bookmark soon.
Just an interesting bit of information on my original inspiration for these pieces were Elinor from Emma Thompson 1995 version, if you watch the part of the movie when Elinor and Edward walk down a wooded path in Norland, you will see that the lady in blue is similar to Elinor.  The inspiration for the bookmark was a scene from Miss Austen Regrets, where she stands on the little boat dock looking at the pond.  She looked so lovely and melancholy too, I just had to paint it.
