This is a custom watercolor I just finished.  It is the moment of Anne and Captain Wentworth's meeting before the concert, in the Octagon room.

The visions of romance were over...

A sad damsel from Jane Austen's novel, maybe Catherine Morland, maybe Jane Bennet, is standing by the fire lost in contemplation. Her hair brush is laying on the table forgotten and tears are ready to roll out of her pretty eyes, because "the visions of romance are over.." Not to worry Jane/Catherine, Mr.Bingley/Henry loves you and a happily ever after is in your future.

Fanny and Edmund

Edmund and Fanny are pictured here, I wanted both of them to have a gentle, pastel color scheme.

The Regency gown depicted in this watercolor is something I imagine Emma Woodhouse wearing to a ball, bright, with rich gold accents but not overtrimmed.
