Among the Hills
This was a custom painting that didn't turn out just the the way it was supposed to, so it's still available.

Pink Poppies, Georgiana and Elizabeth.
This is not a bookish watercolor, but I thought I would try something different this time.
Georigiana and Elizabeth was a custom piece and it turned out so well I thought I would put it out as a print as well.

Emma in the garden
Here is the part of the novel that made me think of this scene, the part right before Mr. Knightley declares himself:Monday, April 15, 2013
Pemberly Gardens
I wanted do a painting with a Pemberley that looked a bit different, more formal and with 1800's muted colors you see in watercolor prints of the time. It's a 4x4 painting, framed in a pretty carved frame.

Northanger Abbey Collage
After a long, long absence during which we had some family travel, some illness and some difficulties with children's school and some spring cleaning, I am back with some new and some reworked pieces.
Here is a new version of Northanger Abbey collage. My helper the drawing dummy is helping me demonstrate it :)

And a new version of Jane Eyre print, with some lovely text in the background.

A year with Jane Austen calendar

With New Year coming upon us soon, I thought it would be fun to try combine some of my paintings into a calendar. I made it through a wonderful site called Picaboo.com, they have the most fabulous backgrounds. I picked one of the vintage ones and put all of my favorite paintings in it.
Pride and Prejudice, Northanger Abbey, Persuasion and Sense and Sensibility are all represented here.
